Front-End Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and evolve the design system across core products and the marketing site
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible, and performant interfaces
• Design and implement UI interactions, transitions, and responsive behaviors
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to align on requirements and feasibility
• Document patterns and drive adoption of shared systems across teams
• Refactor existing surfaces to improve usability and unify the visual language
• Act as the bridge between design intent and production code

Requirements

• 2+ years of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React experience
• Proficiency in Figma and modern frontend tools such as Cursor and Vercel
• Strong understanding of interaction patterns, responsive layouts, accessibility, and visual design
• Experience in fast-paced, frequent code deployment environments
• Ability to solve complex problems independently with minimal guidance
• Startup mindset with strong ownership, urgency, and pragmatism
• Willingness to work in person at the office 4-5 days a week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced web animations and complex visual effects (Three.js, WebGL, GSAP)
• Experience with mobile design systems
