About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the Front Desk department to ensure guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Control daily guest revenue and reservation loads to ensure seamless arrivals.
- Manage guest complaints and resolve issues to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
- Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes, including account closures and satisfaction surveys.
- Act as a Concierge resource, providing information regarding the city, restaurants, museums, and local attractions.
- Coordinate daily tasks and special requirements with Housekeeping and Restaurant departments.
- Develop staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Supervise team members to ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Audit billing and cash operations, investigating and correcting any discrepancies.
- Prepare personnel reports regarding attendance, absences, and vacations for management.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role.
- Advanced English and Intermediate Portuguese proficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of the Opera property management system.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership and group management abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules.
