About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure visitors complete waivers, check in, and adhere to gym policies
- Greet visitors, answer calls, and respond to emails
- Process memberships and online transactions
- Manage calendar reservations
- Resolve customer service challenges and feedback professionally
- Sell merchandise and climbing gear in the retail shop
- Maintain gym safety standards and provide guidance when needed
- Maintain gym cleanliness
- Support team members and contribute to a positive environment
Requirements
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Passion for climbing and knowledge of climbing terminology/safety
- Ability to remain calm and friendly in fast-paced situations
- Self-directed and highly motivated
- Proficient with computers and point of sale systems
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Customer service or office management experience is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
