About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests throughout their stay
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
- Maximize room revenue through the sale of upgrades and guest amenities
- Assign guest accommodations in accordance with established procedures
- Handle cash, credit, and check-cashing transactions following strict company policies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel occupancy, special events, and in-house groups
- Balance multiple priorities simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
- Ensure all property and department standards are implemented and applied
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission
- Conversational English skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or a related field
- Working knowledge of the Opera property management system
