About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly manner upon arrival
- Manage patient schedules, including scheduling and confirming appointments and follow-up visits
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls according to protocol
- Maintain organized patient records and file documents daily
- Process managed care plans and obtain necessary insurance information
- Provide customers with accurate basic information and order status updates
- Maintain a tidy reception area and manage office supply inventory
- Receive and distribute daily mail and deliveries
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Receptionist or Front Office Representative
- Experience handling multiple phone lines
- 0-2 years of related experience or training
