About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience by building relationships and providing medical support
  • Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, and facial measurements
  • Educate patients on specific lenses, coatings, and frames to meet their unique needs
  • Perform technical tasks including operating auto-lensometers and manual lensometers
  • Accurately collect optical measurements such as pupillary distance and segment heights
  • Dispense glasses and contact lens orders, including frame repairs and adjustments
  • Manage retail sales to exceed patient expectations and business goals

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a patient-facing role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to pass a background check as required by the state
  • Ability to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous medical office or ophthalmic experience
  • ABO and NCLE certifications
