About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience by building relationships and providing medical support
- Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, and facial measurements
- Educate patients on specific lenses, coatings, and frames to meet their unique needs
- Perform technical tasks including operating auto-lensometers and manual lensometers
- Accurately collect optical measurements such as pupillary distance and segment heights
- Dispense glasses and contact lens orders, including frame repairs and adjustments
- Manage retail sales to exceed patient expectations and business goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a patient-facing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to pass a background check as required by the state
- Ability to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical office or ophthalmic experience
- ABO and NCLE certifications
