About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors and manage front desk operations
- Schedule appointments and optimize provider time and room utilization
- Perform data entry into Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Process incoming faxes and manage patient documentation
- Handle co-pays, financial reconciliations, and patient billing
- Contact physicians to obtain updated prescriptions and Plans of Care
- Assist patients during therapy with heat packs, equipment, and exercise monitoring
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic treatment environment
- Manage physical therapy supplies inventory and orders
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of medical office experience
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- One year of customer service experience
