About the role

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors and manage front desk operations
  • Schedule appointments and optimize provider time and room utilization
  • Perform data entry into Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
  • Process incoming faxes and manage patient documentation
  • Handle co-pays, financial reconciliations, and patient billing
  • Contact physicians to obtain updated prescriptions and Plans of Care
  • Assist patients during therapy with heat packs, equipment, and exercise monitoring
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic treatment environment
  • Manage physical therapy supplies inventory and orders

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of medical office experience
  • Familiarity with EMR systems
  • One year of customer service experience
