About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors and manage front desk operations
- Handle appointment scheduling and optimize provider time
- Perform data entry into Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Process incoming faxes and manage patient documentation
- Reconcile co-pays and manage financial records
- Assist clinicians with patient care, including applying heat packs and guiding exercises
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment and sterilize equipment
- Monitor physical therapy supplies inventory and place orders
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of medical office experience
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- One year of customer service experience
