Front Desk Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with warmth and professionalism and manage phone inquiries
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while ensuring pre-visit requirements are met
• Verify patient insurance, update demographic information, and collect copays
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate with nursing staff to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
• Support other centers within the market as needed

Requirements

• 1–3 years of medical or healthcare administrative experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Understanding of insurance verification and billing basics
• Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and scheduling software
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
