About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, including answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, and managing mail
- Prepare and process documents such as correspondence, reports, meeting agendas, and minutes
- Maintain accurate physical and electronic filing systems, databases, and records
- Track inventory and order office and program supplies as required
- Assist in organizing calendars, meetings, events, and staff schedules
- Support financial activities including petty cash handling, receipting, and invoice processing
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold professional standards
- Provide program-specific assistance such as updating client data and managing intake processes
Requirements
- Completion of Grade 12 and administrative coursework
- At least one year of related experience in reception and clerical roles
- Proficiency with Office 365 and general office equipment
- Ability to undergo a successful vulnerable sector background check
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a schedule including Saturdays and Sundays (8:00am-4:00pm) and Monday-Tuesday (4:00pm-12:00am)
