Front Desk Attendant

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Greet and check in members with sincere hospitality and effective communication
• Handle and record cash and non-cash transactions, including credit card processing
• Answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate staff
• Take member reservations for tennis, squash, and racquet courts
• Assist members with signing up for various programs and activities
• Maintain a clean and safe front desk area and assist with membership operations
• Resolve guest complaints in a timely manner or direct them to the correct supervisor

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to operate multi-line telephone systems
• Ability to obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire through company training
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive hand/wrist movements

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a high-end health club, hospitality, or related industry
• Previous experience with cash and credit card handling
• Knowledge of tennis or racquet sports
• Familiarity with court reservation systems
• Bilingual communication skills
