About the role
Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently while ensuring proper credit is received and special requests are fulfilled
- Process all payments according to established hotel requirements and maintain an accurate assigned bank
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to inquiries
- Resolve guest complaints professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, services, room types, rates, and daily activities
- Communicate amenities and resort information to guests and coordinate VIP arrivals with designated personnel
- Document all guest requests, complaints, or problems and communicate pertinent information to management
- Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of experience in the service industry
- Strong computer skills and the ability to maneuver a keyboard and utilize hotel software
- Excellent, professional, and courteous communication skills
- Customer-service oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry
- Some college coursework or a degree in Hospitality Management
