About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist guests with arrival and departure while providing positive experiences
- Complete registration processes and input information into computer systems
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure exceptional service
- Communicate guest requests, amenities, and special information to relevant personnel
- Handle cash and credit card transactions and process guest accounts accurately
- Manage guest inquiries and complaints promptly using "Make it Right" guidelines
- Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, services, and room types
- Answer telephones and manage guest messages and packages
- Follow hotel safety policies and maintain a clean work area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions
- Command of the English language (written and verbal)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for 75% or more of the shift
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree
- Previous hotel Front Desk experience
- Hilton brand experience
- Marriott FSPMS experience
