Front Desk Agent

Responsibilities

• Supervise Front Desk operations during assigned shifts to ensure high standards of guest experience
• Greet guests warmly and provide accurate information regarding hotel services and local attractions
• Assist staff with front desk functions including PBX Operator duties
• Conduct daily stand-up meetings and communicate brand standards to the team
• Manage workflow, room status, and group activities in coordination with other departments
• Resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and discrepancies promptly using established guidelines
• Assist management in training and motivating employees to increase productivity
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all hotel safety and security procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of hotel Front Desk experience
• Ability to handle cash and credit transactions
• Proficiency in using moderately complex computer systems
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for 75% or more of the shift

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree
• Previous supervisory experience
• Hilton brand experience
• Hilton OnQ experience
