About the role
Responsibilities
- Performing all check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and courteously
- Managing guest reservations and room allocations
- Answering hotel telephones and responding to guest inquiries via email and in person
- Handling guest payments and managing cash floats accurately
- Providing comprehensive information about hotel services, Taormina, and local attractions
- Resolving guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally
- Liaising with other departments to fulfil guest requests
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent in a 5-star luxury hotel
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (HMS) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A polished, professional appearance and demeanour
- Strong problem-solving abilities and grace under pressure
- Fluent in Italian and English
