About the role

Responsibilities

  • Performing all check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and courteously
  • Managing guest reservations and room allocations
  • Answering hotel telephones and responding to guest inquiries via email and in person
  • Handling guest payments and managing cash floats accurately
  • Providing comprehensive information about hotel services, Taormina, and local attractions
  • Resolving guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally
  • Liaising with other departments to fulfil guest requests

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent in a 5-star luxury hotel
  • Proficiency with hotel management systems (HMS) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A polished, professional appearance and demeanour
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and grace under pressure
  • Fluent in Italian and English
