Fried Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Flour or Corn Department to ensure production KPIs (Yield, Waste, Efficiency, Labor) meet or exceed budget.
• Serve as a primary liaison between upper management and line employees to communicate production schedules and resolve personnel issues.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with GMP, food safety, and quality system requirements.
• Manage department safety, performing regular sanitation inspections and maintaining required documentation.
• Identify training needs for supervisors and employees, maintaining accurate records for AIB and safety compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production methods and product quality.
• Assist in planning production needs, preparing budgets, and evaluating equipment modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5 years of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• Strong knowledge of GMP, LEAN Manufacturing, 5's, or Six Sigma.
• Ability to work flexible hours to support a 3-shift operation.
• Physical ability to walk long distances and work in various environments (dusty, noisy, hot, or cold).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in bakery or food/beverage manufacturing.
• Experience with regulatory inspections such as AIB, OSHA, or Health Department.
• Proficiency with SAP and Kronos software.
