Responsibilities

• Package produce items according to customer specifications
• Apply labels to individual containers
• Fold corrugated boxes
• Fill containers or boxes with specific quantities or weights
• Weigh packages to verify accuracy
• Work with tomatoes, specialty peppers, and other assigned items
• Stack finished product boxes onto pallets
• Clean work stations and surrounding areas including sweeping and sanitizing
• Maintain quality and food safety standards

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations for reading scales
• Ability to follow oral instructions and management direction
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
