French Speaking Multi-Disciplinary Teaching Artist

Responsibilities

• Conceive and create age-appropriate curriculum for after-school French classes
• Design outcome-based lesson plans in subjects you are passionate about
• Specify materials needed to run courses successfully
• Consistently arrive on time (or early) to classes across New York City
• Create memorable experiences that help children grow and develop a passion for learning French

Requirements

• Experienced instructor with deep background teaching school-age children
• Able to create a positive class community and build relationships with students
• Experience leading your own classes
• Excitement, joy, and passion for teaching kids and personal development
• Cooperative, supportive, and flexible approach
• Strong work ethic and a do-whatever-it-takes mindset
• At least three references
• NYC-based
• Fluent in French
