French Language Instructor

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 private French language training to government and public sector professionals.
• Focus on improving native-like pronunciation, intonation, and liaison.
• Assign homework and conduct assessments at the start of each lesson to track progress.
• Provide counseling on effective study methods and offer re-tests when necessary.
• Teach advanced topics including security, diplomacy, military, politics, and economics through speaking, reading, and writing exercises.
• Assist students in grasping main points from French-language news broadcasts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching the French language.
• At least 3 years of cumulative experience living in a French-speaking country.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4-year university graduate).
• Conversational proficiency in Japanese for administrative communication.
• Ability to conduct lessons in-person in Tokyo or via a hybrid model (fully online teaching is not permitted).

Preferred Qualifications

• Based near Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
• 1+ years of specific experience teaching French.
