About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach elementary French language courses (French 100 and French 101) on a part-time basis
- Deliver instruction through regularly scheduled classes or directed studies
- Demonstrate teaching excellence and a sensitivity to diverse student populations
Requirements
- Master’s degree in French or a closely related Humanities discipline
- Native or near-native fluency in French
- Native or near-native fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous college-level teaching experience
- Familiarity with current communicative, proficiency, and/or task-based methodologies
- Ability to provide evidence of strong teaching performance
