French Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary French language courses (French 100 and French 101) on a part-time basis
• Deliver instruction through regularly scheduled classes or directed studies
• Demonstrate teaching excellence and a sensitivity to diverse student populations

Requirements

• Master’s degree in French or a closely related Humanities discipline
• Native or near-native fluency in French
• Native or near-native fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous college-level teaching experience
• Familiarity with current communicative, proficiency, and/or task-based methodologies
• Ability to provide evidence of strong teaching performance
