Freight Forwarding Agent - Air Freight Import

Responsibilities

• Manage import freight operations across air, ocean, truck, and rail modes
• Handle order intake and shipment entry within the forwarding system
• Execute customs clearance using various methods, including MRN and NCTS
• Organize and dispatch shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Communicate with customers, service providers, airlines, carriers, and customs offices
• Coordinate with local and overseas locations worldwide
• Perform billing for forwarding files and verify freight rates
• Provide quotations for air freight shipments and obtain price offers
• Support quality management initiatives

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in freight forwarding, logistics, or a comparable qualification
• Strong knowledge of air freight import processes
• Proficiency with the Atlas customs system
• Experience with customs clearance procedures
• Knowledge of Dakosy is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work proactively
• Proficient in MS Office
• Fluency in English
• Availability to work shifts and on weekends
