Freight Forwarder

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the entire shipping process from pickup to delivery
• Arrange and negotiate transportation services with air, sea, and land carriers
• Prepare and review shipping documentation for international trade compliance
• Manage customs clearance processes and resolve related issues
• Optimize shipping routes and methods to minimize costs and transit times
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and shipments
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and customs officials
• Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues during transit

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics
• Strong understanding of customs regulations and documentation
• Experience with transportation management systems and inventory software
• Familiarity with Incoterms and international trade regulations
• Knowledge of multimodal transportation methods
• Fluency in English and Arabic; French is a plus
