Freight Claims Administrator

Responsibilities

• Process and manage freight claims efficiently and accurately
• Investigate claim details, damages, shortages, and delivery discrepancies
• Liaise with customers, carriers, warehouses, and insurers
• Maintain accurate records and claim documentation
• Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure deadlines are met
• Prepare reports and provide regular updates to management
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transport regulations

Requirements

• Previous administration or claims experience
• Experience in the freight, logistics, or transport industry is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
