Freight Brokerage Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and acquire new shipper customers through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn networking
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through first shipment and ongoing account growth
• Negotiate competitive buy and sell rates with carriers and shippers
• Develop and maintain reliable carrier relationships across active lanes
• Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline stages, and opportunity tracking
• Support monthly revenue, load volume, and margin targets

Requirements

• 2–4 years of freight brokerage or B2B sales experience
• Proven track record of building a book of business through outbound prospecting
• Ability to make 50+ outbound calls per day consistently
• Experience negotiating freight rates in spot or contract environments
• Understanding of U.S. freight markets, lane pricing, and carrier dynamics
• Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
