About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the on-site Event Coordinator for team-building and social impact activities
- Participate in virtual planning meetings with corporate and nonprofit partners
- Manage event setup, teardown, and site cleaning
- Serve as the primary Visit.org representative and problem-solver on-site
- Coordinate with venues, staff, and corporate partners to align roles
- Manage the guest check-in process and provide a warm welcome
- Resolve real-time issues such as missing supplies or technology challenges
- Provide consistent updates, photos, and videos to the Events Team
- Pack and ship event materials back to the distribution center
Requirements
- Based in Morristown, NJ
- Experience in large-scale or executive-level event execution
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics
- Resourceful and able to problem-solve in ambiguous situations
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to travel within the local region
