Freelance Event Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site lead for social impact team-building events and corporate experiences in the Tampa area.
• Participate in virtual planning meetings with corporate partners, nonprofits, and the Visit.org team.
• Manage end-to-end event logistics including setup, guest check-in, onsite coordination, and teardown.
• Serve as the primary brand representative, providing high-quality customer service and problem-solving on the fly.
• Coordinate with onsite teams, including venues, nonprofit partners, and additional staff.
• Provide real-time updates, photos, and videos to the central Events Team during live events.
• Handle post-event breakdown, including cleaning site areas and repackaging materials for shipment.

Requirements

• Must be currently based in Tampa, FL.
• Proven experience in corporate event execution and group facilitation.
• Fluency in English with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, on a per-event contract basis.
• Resourceful mindset with the ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift, slide, or carry up to 30 lbs.
• Willingness to travel to various locations within the local region.
