FRC Coxswain

Responsibilities

• Operate and manoeuvre the Fast Rescue Craft safely in various sea and weather conditions
• Act as Coxswain during all craft operations
• Conduct pre-use checks, routine inspections, and basic maintenance of the FRC
• Ensure compliance with STCW requirements, safety procedures, and operational guidelines
• Ensure all crew members adhere to safety requirements while onboard
• Support emergency response, rescue operations, and routine maritime activities

Requirements

• STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats (FRB)
• STCW Basic Safety Training
• Valid ENG1 Seafarer Medical Certificate
• Strong boat-handling and seamanship skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain high safety awareness

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience operating jet drive vessels
• Previous experience as an FRC Coxswain or in a similar operational role
