Made's mission is to help homeowners save time, money, and stress through the Made Card, a credit card designed specifically for homeowners. Backed by top investors, Made is building the financial and engagement platform for the next generation of homeowners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust fraud prevention strategies for the Made credit card across origination, account management, and authorizations
  • Build and maintain a strong KYC and Sanctions screening program
  • Implement controls to protect customers from account takeovers and minimize payment return risks
  • Maintain a fraud authorizations playbook to minimize point of sale fraud losses
  • Evaluate capabilities against emerging threats and upgrade the tech stack and vendors
  • Review and adjudicate escalations including KYC reviews and authorizations caseload
  • Establish KPIs and develop reporting capabilities using tools like Retool
  • Take accountability for fraud loss metrics including first payment default and transaction fraud loss rates
  • Prepare case studies and present findings to the Executive Team
  • Implement a test-and-control system to quantify the benefits of new tools and strategies

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in fraud prevention within financial services
  • Strong technical acumen with ability to pull data and analyze KPIs
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the credit card domain
  • Knowledge of Python or SQL
  • Experience in fintech, credit cards, real estate, or home services
  • Familiarity with compliance-heavy or regulated marketing environments
