Fraud Prevention Executive

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize fraud prevention strategies for affiliated merchants, aggregators, and acceptance channels.
• Analyze fraud indicators, chargebacks, brand program alerts (Visa/MasterCard), and market trends to identify emerging risks.
• Establish risk rules, controls, and monitoring parameters to mitigate fraud while maintaining a positive user experience.
• Evaluate new business models, products, and acceptance channels from an acquiring risk perspective.
• Coordinate mitigation actions with internal and external areas to address fraud events and brand program non-compliance.
• Monitor and follow up on early risk alerts from creation to closure in accordance with current regulations.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 0 to 2 years of professional experience (recent graduates are welcome to apply).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret databases.
• Proficiency in descriptive and inferential statistics.
• Experience or knowledge in Data Visualization and Executive Reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate SQL skills.
• Experience using Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
