Fraud Investigations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Investigate fraud and scam activities to protect customer assets and ensure regulatory compliance
• Analyze transactions, gather evidence, and perform network analysis on disputed card transactions
• Raise chargeback requests on behalf of members and respond to queries from finance partners
• Review chargeback and representation documents received from third-party financial institutions
• Ensure compliance with relevant banking regulations, laws, and industry standards
• Make fair, evidence-based decisions to deliver positive outcomes for customers
• Conduct outbound calls to members to resolve queries immediately when required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ year of experience in fraud or investigations
• Ability to work rotational shifts in a 24/7 operational environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Prior customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the banking or financial services industry
• Keen interest in transaction monitoring, financial crime, or fraud prevention
