Fraud Analyst

Responsibilities

• Validate held payments by partnering with internal stakeholders to confirm legitimacy and document outcomes.
• Monitor and manage fraud detection queues, prioritizing work to meet payment cutoffs and service-level expectations.
• Investigate payment transactions to distinguish true fraud from false positives.
• Manage confirmed fraud cases end-to-end, including coordination with Global Security Investigations and OFAC-related processes.
• Support continuous improvement by contributing to policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Produce daily and periodic reporting, including fraud monitoring activity summaries.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) by supporting and delivering training across the team.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in financial operations and/or client service.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and investigative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Schedule flexibility to support business coverage needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the Portuguese language.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience in international payment processing operations or fraud investigations.
