Franchise Specialist, Business Banking

Responsibilities

• Acquire and grow a portfolio of high-value franchising customer relationships through business development and local market expertise.
• Identify and engage new franchising prospects using multiple channels, including referrals, COIs, and community networking.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, such as Virtual Franchise Banking Advisors and Wealth Management Financial Consultants, to provide total solution banking.
• Provide specialized franchising expertise and financial advice to help business owners succeed.
• Manage a market area credit portfolio by working closely with Credit Adjudication teams and ensuring proper documentation.
• Adhere to all regulatory guidelines, including AML/ATF, Privacy, and Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business law, economics, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in the franchising field or the franchising segment of the marketplace.
• Strong knowledge of business products, services, and financial statements.
• Ability to build and maintain key relationships with customers and Centers of Influence (COIs).
• Working knowledge of risk management policies and legal/security documentation.
• Valid vehicle required for significant business development and travel.
