France Market Tax Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire tax agenda for the France market, including La Réunion
• Manage and monitor market tax risks, including detection, reporting, and mitigation of uncertain tax positions
• Provide daily tax advice to the business and collaborate on initiatives to ensure adherence to global tax strategies
• Manage relationships with local tax authorities and oversee tax audits and investigations to minimize exposure
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes to ensure timely and correct implementation across the organization
• Supervise tax compliance positions and reporting processes
• Support statutory accounting and group reporting by providing technical advice on accounting treatments

Requirements

• University degree in finance, business, or law
• 8+ years of corporate tax experience in industry or a professional accounting firm
• Deep knowledge of French tax legislation and international tax principles (transfer pricing, BEPS, etc.)
• Professional accounting qualification
• Experience in audit (internal/external) or SOX compliance
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data for tax reporting
• Excellent proficiency in both French and English
