About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute the Total Patient Experience to build relationships and provide medical support
- Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, and facial measurements
- Educate patients on specific lenses, coatings, and frames to meet their needs
- Perform technical tasks including operating auto-lensometers and manual lensometers
- Accurately collect optical measurements such as pupillary distance and seg heights
- Dispense patient orders and perform repairs or adjustments on eyewear
- Manage the dispensing of both glasses and contact lens orders
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a patient-facing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to pass a background check and provide proof of right to work in the US
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and fine motor work
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience
- Previous ophthalmic experience
- ABO certification
- NCLE certification
