About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver a world-class patient experience by building relationships and providing medical support
- Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, facial measurements, and prescriptions
- Educate patients on specific lenses, coatings, and frames to meet their unique needs
- Perform technical tasks including operating auto-lensometers and manual lensometers
- Accurately collect optical measurements such as pupillary distance, seg heights, and vertex distance
- Dispense eyewear and contact lens orders, including repairing and adjusting frames
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient-facing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to pass a background check and provide proof of right to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent walking, standing, and fine motor activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience
- Previous ophthalmic experience
- ABO certification
- NCLE certification
