About the role
Responsibilities
- Assemble wood frame components, panels, or structures according to work instructions and blueprints
- Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, jigs, and fixtures to fasten lumber and components accurately
- Inspect materials and completed assemblies to ensure conformance with quality standards
- Maintain a consistent production pace aligned with customer demand and lean manufacturing principles
- Follow standard work methods and OSHA-compliant safe work practices
- Safely move, stage, load, and unload lumber, wood components, and finished frames
- Operate basic woodworking or assembly support machinery such as saws, nail machines, and presses
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to support efficient workflow and safety
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)
- Ability to read tape measures, basic drawings, and work instructions
- Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout a shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling wood products or components in a manufacturing or construction environment
