Responsibilities

• Pilot drones in flight testing to gain deep familiarity with system and aircraft performance
• Conduct field testing (approximately 80% of the time) requiring travel several days a week
• Prepare, transport, and operate drone systems and supporting equipment
• Document and collect data during tests
• Perform high volume qualification on late-stage engineering products
• Identify failures and product imperfections and report back to specialists and engineers

Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience on acro drones
• Expert at acro FPV and LOS flying
• Ability to detect subtle performance issues in equipment
• Technical knowledge of UAV components
• Proficiency with Betaflight and ESC software
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Part 107 certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in FPV
• Blackbox analysis and PID tuning
• Professional FPV piloting experience
• CAD/drone design experience
• Experience with cinelifters or large FPV platforms
