FPGA Silicon Design Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform functional logic verification of FPGAs to ensure designs meet microarchitecture specifications
• Develop FPGA verification plans, test benches, and verification environments
• Execute verification plans and run system simulation models to verify design, analyze power/timing, and uncover bugs
• Replicate, root cause, and debug issues within the pre-silicon environment
• Implement corrective measures to resolve failing tests
• Collaborate with FPGA architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex features
• Document test plans and drive technical reviews with design and architecture teams
• Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in silicon design verification
• Proficiency with SystemVerilog
• Experience with UVM or OVM methodology
• Experience with Perl or Python scripting

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with code coverage and functional coverage
• Experience with X-propagation
• Experience with multiple RTL simulators and regression testing
• Experience creating reusable components from block to top level
• Experience with Ethernet protocols
