FPGA Prototyping/Emulation Staff Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Validate advanced prototyping and emulation features using large, complex customer SoC designs to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Analyze complex design and product challenges to develop innovative solutions and strategic recommendations.
• Provide technical leadership to define and refine requirements for HAPS and ZeBu product flows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Applications Engineering, and global teams to accelerate successful prototyping deployments.
• Standardize and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with industry best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA-based prototyping, FPGA design, and hardware debug.
• Strong proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog, RTL design, synthesis, and simulation.
• Practical experience with scripting languages such as Python and Tcl.
• Familiarity with design automation flows and productivity tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for delivering scalable technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ARM® bus architectures.
• Experience with display controllers/interfaces.
• Familiarity with industry-standard protocols such as USB, PCIe, SATA, and DDR.
