FPGA Prototyping & Emulation Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FPGA prototypes and emulation environments for SoC/IP validation
• Perform RTL integration, partitioning, synthesis, and timing closure
• Support multi-FPGA bring-up and scalability for large-scale SoCs
• Integrate and validate high-speed and low-speed interfaces including PCIe, USB, UFS, EMAC, I2C, SPI, and UART
• Enable memory controller development and DDR/memory subsystem integration in prototyping environments
• Debug system-level issues involving RTL, clocks, resets, CDC, and firmware/software interactions
• Build debug visibility through probes, traces, and instrumentation
• Develop automation using Python and Tcl for regression runs, platform configuration, and debug trace collection

Requirements

• 10-20+ years of experience in FPGA Design and FPGA Prototyping
• Deep understanding of RTL Integration, SystemVerilog, Verilog, Timing Closure, STA, and CDC
• Experience with Multi-FPGA environments and SoC architecture
• Proficiency with memory controller and DDR interface integration
• Hands-on experience with protocols such as PCIe, UFS, USB, EMAC, I2C, SPI, and UART
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with exposure to software bring-up on FPGA platforms
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and Tcl
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or PhD) with relevant experience
