FPGA Post Silicon Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive validation strategies for FPGA configuration, security, and HPS subsystems.
• Validate FPGA configuration flows, including power-on reset, partial reconfiguration, and recovery scenarios.
• Perform security feature validation covering secure boot, authentication, encryption, and root-of-trust.
• Validate HPS functionality, including boot flows, reset sequencing, clocking, and memory interfaces.
• Create and execute test cases for configuration robustness, security corner cases, and fault injection.
• Perform device and system bring-up, debugging configuration failures and security violations.
• Drive innovation in validation methodologies and automation to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and board design teams to influence observability and debug capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on silicon validation experience, specifically with FPGA configuration, security, or SoC subsystems.
• Solid understanding of FPGA configuration architectures and bitstream management.
• Strong knowledge of hardware security concepts such as encryption, key storage, and threat modeling.
• Experience validating HPS or embedded processor subsystems and hardware-software interaction.
• Hands-on experience with system-level validation, debug, and silicon issue triage.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and test infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with FPGA and SoC architectures.
• Experience or familiarity with Verilog.
