Responsibilities
- Support government-sponsored research, development, integration, and testing of wireless terrestrial and satellite communication systems
- Design, develop, test, automate, and document communication capabilities
- Adapt and extend commercial systems to novel applications and environments
- Work across multiple engineering disciplines to deliver timely results to customers
- Collaborate closely with other engineering teams in a technical environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of Hardware Engineering experience
- OR Master's degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience
- OR PhD in a related field with 2+ years of experience
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be eligible to receive a U.S. Government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with FPGA design, embedded system architecture, and DSP implementations
- Expertise in System Verilog RTL design across design and verification
- Deep understanding of Xilinx FPGA architectures and design processes
- Strong knowledge of digital signal processing (filtering, FFT, modulation)
- Proficiency with communication protocols (AXI4-x, DDRx, PCIe) and design simulation tools (Modelsim, VCS, or Xcelium)
- Experience with Xilinx Vivado tools, static timing analysis, and timing closure
- Proficiency in Python, Tcl, and Linux OS
- Experience with Git, Gerrit, or UVM-based verification flows
