About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support government-sponsored research, development, integration, and testing of wireless terrestrial and satellite communication systems
  • Design, develop, test, automate, and document communication capabilities
  • Adapt and extend commercial systems to novel applications and environments
  • Work across multiple engineering disciplines to deliver timely results to customers
  • Collaborate closely with other engineering teams in a technical environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of Hardware Engineering experience
  • OR Master's degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience
  • OR PhD in a related field with 2+ years of experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be eligible to receive a U.S. Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience with FPGA design, embedded system architecture, and DSP implementations
  • Expertise in System Verilog RTL design across design and verification
  • Deep understanding of Xilinx FPGA architectures and design processes
  • Strong knowledge of digital signal processing (filtering, FFT, modulation)
  • Proficiency with communication protocols (AXI4-x, DDRx, PCIe) and design simulation tools (Modelsim, VCS, or Xcelium)
  • Experience with Xilinx Vivado tools, static timing analysis, and timing closure
  • Proficiency in Python, Tcl, and Linux OS
  • Experience with Git, Gerrit, or UVM-based verification flows
