FPGA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create new solutions by implementing advanced signal processing techniques in hardware for real-time solutions
• Design hardware and firmware to enhance existing products to create innovative solutions for DoD and IC problems
• Document and present results to a variety of users and stakeholders

Requirements

• US Citizenship required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Verilog or VHDL
• Experience integrating FPGA designs with embedded processors, SoCs, DSPs, and external hardware
• Strong understanding of digital logic design, FSMs, pipelining, and CDC techniques
• Knowledge of FPGA debugging (ILA, SignalTap, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers)
• Proficiency in Python, Tcl, Perl, or other scripting languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly
• Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field
• Experience with AI/ML development
• Experience with High-Level Synthesis (HLS) tools (Vitis HLS, Intel HLS, MATLAB HDL Coder)
• Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, or bare-metal software
• Familiarity with ARM-based SoCs, Zynq, Versal, or Intel SoC FPGAs
• Experience designing for functional safety, reliability, or radiation-hardened applications
