About the role
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop software support for the successful routing of next-generation FPGA devices
- Own various modules of the Quartus compiler, ranging from device modeling to timing closure and runtime
- Implement new features and perform root-cause analysis to fix existing issues within a large codebase
- Optimize software for hardware requirements including Fmax, throughput, timing closure, and area
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external customers to improve compiler performance
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering
- Experience in FPGA device routing
- Knowledge of device modeling, timing closure, and runtime
- Ability to work at the intersection of hardware requirements and software optimizations
