FPGA Development Tools Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and support DSP Builder, a high-level design tool based on MATLAB/Simulink
• Design and implement improvements within the HLD compiler stack
• Analyze bottlenecks in user designs and implement corresponding compiler optimizations
• Perform comprehensive benchmarking of FPGA-targeted generated hardware
• Work across a mix of compiler software development and digital hardware design

Requirements

• Master's Degree or five years of commercial experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong software development skills using C/C++
• Working knowledge of efficient data structures and algorithms
• Technical knowledge and appreciation of digital hardware design concepts
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital hardware design using Verilog/VHDL and related design flows
• Experience in developing optimizing compilers
• Practical experience working with FPGAs
