About the role
Responsibilities
- Build hardware accelerated solutions for internally developed software
- Work on a proof of concept project to offload intense computation routines to an FPGA board
- Measure performance advances of hardware accelerated implementations
- Design and develop a set of modules, synthesis, time verification, and integration with Linux-based software
- Assist in performance testing of the POC
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Verilog-based FPGA design
- At least 3 years of experience in Altera development environments
- Hands on knowledge in FPGA synthesis, implementation, and timing closure
- Practical knowledge in PCIe, DRAM, and DMA sub-systems
- Proficiency with Quartas and ModelSym
- Basic knowledge of Linux environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
