FPGA Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Digital design architecting for wireless communication projects
• Fixed point design of signal processing blocks
• RTL coding, simulation, and test bench development
• FPGA synthesis and timing closure
• Hardware verification and troubleshooting using logic analyzers
• Support to RF and Software Engineering teams

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of FPGA design experience
• OR an advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Expertise in multiple clock-domain, high-utilization FPGA designs
• Experience with Xilinx FPGAs, SoCs, and Vivado IDE
• Experience with TCL or Python
• Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE)
• Experience with fixed point binary arithmetic and digital signal processing
• Experience using MATLAB
• Experience with communication systems on FPGA or ASIC designs
