About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform RTL development for FPGA-targeted applications
- Work with multiple FPGAs and various toolchains
- Interface FPGAs with peripherals including high-speed data converters, memories, and MCUs
- Write software to interface with and test RTL in hardware
- Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineering teams
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field
- Experience designing, implementing, and testing high-throughput systems on FPGAs
- Proficiency with Verilog or SystemVerilog for synthesis
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status (required for export control compliance)
- A passion for hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with UVM and advanced SystemVerilog verification
- Experience with Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado IDE/TCL
- Familiarity with high-speed data converters (ADCs, DACs, JESD204B)
- Knowledge of digital communication theory (e.g., LDPC implementations)
- Experience with modern communication systems (RF, IF/IQ, modulation)
- Experience with space-based systems or high-reliability design
