FP&A Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and own the FP&A insights data warehouse to establish a single source of truth for management reporting and PnL analytics
• Build and evolve complex PnL attribution and KPI generation models using Python and SQL
• Implement automated reconciliation frameworks to ensure data integrity and reduce operational risk
• Partner with Technology teams to modernize legacy Excel and Python models
• Integrate data governance, version control, and testing into technical workflows
• Support ad-hoc analyses for the business and CFO’s organization
• Champion the adoption of AI and automation tools to improve productivity

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive data engineering experience
• Deep expertise in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with various asset classes (FX, futures, options, etc.) and their economic impact modeling
• Strong analytical skills with experience handling large, unstructured datasets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Excellent communication and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks, Spark, or Docker
• Understanding of data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency
• Experience in a high-growth startup or tech company environment
