FP&A Analyst

About the Company

Etched is building hardware for frontier intelligence. We co-design chips, racks, software, and manufacturing to deliver best-in-class throughput and latency across both prefill and decode workloads. Our first products are heavily focused on inference.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end budgeting and planning cycles, including annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
• Build, maintain, and improve Excel-based financial models for forward-looking forecasts
• Analyze and maintain financial data systems to ensure data integrity and actionable insights
• Communicate financial narratives and complexity directly to senior leadership
• Standardize workflows and build FP&A processes from scratch to support scaling
• Execute high-urgency tasks with speed and precision under tight timelines

Requirements

• 1–4 years of professional experience in a high-performance environment
• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel
• Exceptional organizational skills and rigor
• Clear and concise communication skills for senior leadership presentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high ambiguity
• High ownership mindset and bias toward action

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical skills in SQL or Python
• Experience with financial systems implementation or migration
• Startup founder or entrepreneurial background
• Exposure to hardware or deep tech business models
